Del Maguey Las Milpas is packaged in a unique green colored bottle, this is distinctive to the brand Del Maguey. This unique mezcal is fragrant and floral with prominent notes of cooked agave, with slight hints of earthy minerals, balanced by tropical fruits and citrus notes, slight hints of rose petals, lavender, tarragon, and pea shots, that evolves into a long and dry finish.

History
Del Maguey Las Milpas is a unique spirit that is bottled in a Special Edition bottle made from giant semi-wild, maguey Arroqueño that is dedicated to Thor Heyerdahl. It is produced in the palenque of Anastacio Cruz Antonio and his sons Rigoberto, Abel and Pedro. Their Single Village expression is crafted by roasting ripe agave Espadin in an earthen horno carved into the granite hillside. Roasted agave is milled using a horse-drawn molino and fermented using only ambient microbes and yeasts in open-air wooden fermentation tanks and twice distilled in small copper stills.
