A brand new premium Blanco Tequila arrives that is so much more than a pretty face.

Michael Dolan already had a long and successful career in entertainment and marketing when he stepped in as CEO at Bacardi. Almost as soon as he retired he started dreaming of his next venture. And in 2020 he partnered with Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero and experienced ambassador Juan Coronado to create Mijenta Tequila. The Blanco and Reposado editions are available now with a rumored Añejo coming as soon as the casks are sufficiently aged to perfection. Keep an eye on this one.

Mijenta Tequila Blanco is the first release and it is quite an impressive one. Dolan hired the best to craft his new signature Spirit and that means quality in every drop. In just its first few months it has been awarded its first medal and been rated at 97 Points by The Tasting Panel Magazine.

It’s a Tequila, so you know it is made from 100% Weber Blue agave. These came from the red clay soils of the Los Altos region in the Highlands of Jalisco. Maestra Tequilera Romero is something of a legend with more than 25 years making Tequila and she personally oversaw every aspect of production — from field to bottle — and it shows.

The name "Mijenta" is a brandable derivative of the Spanish "mi gente," meaning "my people."
